NEW YORK, May 21, 2026 – Hyperscience, a market leader in enterprise AI infrastructure software, focused on Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), today announced it has been named both a Leader and a Customer Favorite in The Forrester Wave™: Document Mining and Analytics Platforms, Q2 2026 report. Hyperscience achieved the highest score in the “Current Offering” category, receiving 5/5 scores across 15 individual Current Offering criteria, as well as three 5/5 scores in the Strategy criteria for Vision, Innovation, and Roadmap.
The Forrester Wave evaluation is a rigorous, data-driven assessment of document mining and analytics platform providers. Forrester evaluates vendors’ current offering, strategy, and customer feedback, incorporating both analyst assessment, and direct customer feedback.
Hyperscience was recognized as a “Customer Favorite” in the evaluation. According to Forrester’s methodology, “A double halo indicates outstanding customer feedback.” In the report, customers describe the Hyperscience team as responsive during implementation and ongoing support.
“For us, being named both a Leader and a Customer Favorite in this evaluation underscores the trust our customers place in Hyperscience to power their most critical document-driven workflows,” said Andrew Joiner, CEO, Hyperscience. “We’ve built our platform with a clear focus on enterprise-grade, agentic AI, designed to handle the most complex document environments. We believe this recognition validates our commitment to delivering market-leading levels of automation, accuracy, and affordability through advanced machine learning, an open, model-agnostic approach, and a customer experience that puts long-term value first.”
The Forrester report notes, “Agentic AI can accelerate prototyping and automate parts of document mining workflows, but document mining and analytics platform (DMAP) requirements for complex enterprise use cases remain far too extensive for anyone to simply ‘build’ a production-ready platform by prompting agents.” The report further states, “As a result, DMAP remains very much a ‘buy’ market, with most organizations better served by selecting a proven provider than attempting to assemble an equivalent capability set from scratch — even with agentic AI.”
According to the report, “Hyperscience is well suited for organizations that need a dedicated IDP platform (rather than a broader automation or ECM (enterprise content management) suite) and prefer a code-first approach.” The report also recognizes Hyperscience as the only Intelligent Document Processing pure play vendor in the evaluation, differentiating it from suite-oriented competitors. It also offers a code-first platform, which appeals to enterprises and ISVs seeking greater embeddability and extensibility.
The evaluation by Forrester states that “Hyperscience scored strongly relative to peers across multiple criteria by delivering enterprise-grade agentic AI integration and functionality, including agents that generate and execute observable, auditable, and reversible plans; stateless, horizontally scalable orchestration with backward-compatible connectors; and built-in monitoring, logging, and versioning for agents and integrations. Hyperscience also scores above its peers in ML-based AI, model lifecycle management, hybrid RAG and guardrails, document intelligence, deployment, and data governance, with FinOps-aware model switching and schema-validated outputs for regulated and air-gapped environments.”
Leading organizations across financial services, insurance, public sector, and healthcare, including American Express, Charles Schwab, the U.S. Social Security Administration, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, rely on Hyperscience to transform document-driven processes into strategic advantages.
Hyperscience received the highest score possible in the following criteria within the current offering category: Agentic AI Functionality, Agentic AI Integration, ML-Based AI, Generative AI Architecture, AI Model Lifecycle Management, Vectorization and Hybrid RAG, Generative AI Guardrails, Document Labeling/Annotation, UI and Other Techniques for Accuracy Verification, Complex Content/Forms Processing, Document Packages and Separation, Document Quality and Validation Rules, NLP, Deployment Options, and Data Privacy. Notably, Hyperscience is the only vendor in the evaluation to receive a 5/5 score in both the AI Model Lifecycle Management and Vectorization and Hybrid RAG criteria.
